Scan your documents, review and modify your documents, route your documents -- all from one easy-to-use interface

Scanning
eRouter can use any network scanning device that either has a TWAIN-compliant scan driver or any device that can scan to a network folder (which is almost any scanner or multifunction copier). Used primarily with multifunction copiers, eRouter is designed to reside next to the copier for easy access. However, unlike competing products, eRouter can utilize any copier on the network, not just one. You can actually scan a document in one building and send it to an eRouter in a separate building, providing they are on the same network. You have complete flexibility over how you implement eRouter into your environment.

Review and Clean-Up
Once your document is scanned, you need to make sure the document looks the way you want it to before sending off. After all, if the document does not look the way you want it to, what good is it? eRouter not only gives you a preview of your scanned document, but it also gives you the ability to clean-up the document as well. Rotating pages, deleting blank pages, and reordering pages are some of the functions available to you. You can also make mark-ups to the document by applying rubber stamps, erasing stray marks or notes scribbled on the page, or by blacking out sensitive information that you don't want others to see.

Routing the Document
Once your document is perfect, you can then select where you want the document to go. You have numerous options, including sending it via email, saving it to a folder on your network, burning it to CD-ROM, saving it to a document or case management system, printing it out, and more. You also have the ability to determine what format the document is sent in, such as PDF, Searchable PDF, TIFF, etc. You can also password-protect and encrypt the file using secure 128-bit encryption to ensure the document is only viewed by the intended recipient. Need to send the document to multiple locations? eRouter allows you to send a document via email, then burn it to CD, or whatever you want, all without rescanning the document.
